Another round of showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop today into the afternoon. There will be embedded pockets of heavy rainfall and some instances of flooding could be possible. Thunderstorms and outflow will be capable of produce gusty winds as well.
The combination of a stalled front, high moisture levels and upper level support will continue to result in rounds of thunderstorms this week. Embedded heavy rainfall and some isolated to scattered instances of flooding will be possible. Anticipate some lulls in activity in-between rounds. Temperatures should trend below average with daytime highs only in the 80s across most locations.
