Nah, I'm just stupid I got confused. The wiki said that she blew the horn in volume 9. Not sure why I thought otherwise. But all the content so far (plot-wise) is from volume 8. Whether any characters show up out of turn is a different story.
¬.¬ Dude, don't quote wikis. And considering I've reread Overlord enough times to memorize it you can take my words for it. The Army is summoned in the 2nd half of Volume 9 when prince idiot thought it was an idea to subjugate the village and take them as hostages against Ainz.
I haven't rechecked the volume myself, but Wikia seems to disagree; going by it, all the content so far is taken from volume 8, and the army is summoned near the end of Enri's half of the volume.
I think you mean volume 8, which is the two side stories. 7 and 9 are connected, so this is fine. What I don't really get is why they're telling the two side stories in such a mashed-up way...
He's always lost when handling his minions. But that crazy luck of his.
From the first 2 episodes broadcasted so far, the pace of the story is Carne Village > Forest of Tob > E-rantel > Back to forest to subjugate that troll > Empire and Invasion of tomb > Gathering and war > SPLAT.
Volume 8 is a lot of self parody if that's what your'e asking.
I'm assuming you've read the novels because you wouldn't have said what you've said if you did read them.
Well, that was... a pretty funny episode that almost looked like self-parody?
This episode was very unlike Overlord, but still an okay change of pace. I will not like it if the series is turned into actual self-parody or keeps mocking itself for any longer, though.

Maruyama's trying a multiple POV take to a single string of events for Volume 8.

Finally get that picture of the Goblin strategist. I've always wanted a gobling Zhuge Liang for my character Icon.

And yeah, highlight of the episode. Lupus is <3. She's my second best from the Pleiades, after Entoma (obviously).

At least Ainz is fairly decent at manipulating Demiurge into explaining what he thinks the plans are.
Will watch the second Pleiades ep later today.
