I've read my fair share of 'Character A get's de-aged and Character B has to take care of them' fics, and I wanted to try my hand at it. Though I think I've manipulated the premise a bit. Explanation: in this version of reality, the Change is a well known phenomenon — intense emotions can make people turn into children, if only temporarily. Two days at the most. Although it's not exactly common, because everyone would be absolutely useless if they turned into children every time they felt just a little bit sad. So the Change has to have happened because of a very serious source of stress. Such as the sudden death of a loved one, for example.
So when Jake brings up Goose to rile up Rooster and peripherally hurt Mav, Rooster gets so damn mad. Then suddenly — poof!! — little kid Bradley appears. Jake feels guilty about making the kid cry so hard. Maverick is in total dad mode of course.

This started realizing just how much would change if Draco was not an idiot and treated Harry as a brother. However, I have also made Victorian England a reality as honor, etiquette, and rank really matter. This is a Victorian boarding school, so physical pain is a very common punishment and because wizards are much more durable, will not be gentle. Remember how quickly people heal in this world before judging.
Under 14 (still 1st maturity) witches always DIE if pregnant, so no sex, enforced by wards, for them. Young adults start experimenting with sex at 2nd maturity or 14 years old. They are on the potion to keep from being pregnant and understand being discrete, especially around 1st maturity students, is required. While not legally punished, it is frowned upon for an adult or 3rd maturity (usually 18) to have sex with 2nd maturity. The Hogwarts wards are supposed to enforce this.
Once Harry gains a family, nothing will keep him from protecting them. Family First is the first rule of Black, and Harry embraces it with everything he can...including adopting many into his family to make his family grow, much to the amusement of the Black.
