Summary
A stand alone story taking place behind the scenes after the battle of Armatura, sometime roughly during the events of the Shadow Crusade as outlined in the novel Betrayer.
Angron finds himself summoned to Lorgar's personal chambers one evening after a particularly harrowing day of conquest and combat. He assumes this request involves holding a strategy meeting to make preparations for their next move, as always. But that's not at all what Lorgar has in mind tonight.

Summary
Roboute Guilliman breaks more and more with every passing day, and with no solution in sight. He knows he's taken on more than he can feasibly handle but there's absolutely nothing that can be done to resolve it. He's overworked and weary as his sanity is slipping away; the Emperor still torments him — and despite trying to reach Lorgar night after night, he never answers.

Summary
A summary of the lore in my imagining of the 40k universe. A... Primarch primer, if you will.
I have added this as the first entry in all of my 40k fic series (which I have decided I will likely categorize everything I write into one for the sake of organization, like a little stack of notebooks). Consider this the preface, and maybe a table of contents or as an index.

Summary
There are many parallels I entertain in my disturbed thoughts about the Emperor and the Primarchs. This is one of them regarding the Emperor and Lorgar, heavily related to how Lorgar envisions reality once he finally loses his mind and goes full on theoretical physicist.

Summary
Roboute Guilliman continues to struggle alone, his psyche now creating impossible scenarios in a futile attempt to bring some form of comfort to his fractured mind before it shatters completely. He knows that indulging in such futile, pointless delusions will only make things worse in the end, but does he have the strength to resist?

Reformation [Anthology] by lorgar_apologist (Skiah_Immaterium)
Fandom: Horus Heresy - Various Authors, Warhammer 40.000, Warhammer 40k (Novels) - Various Authors
03 Aug 2024
Summary
A collection of loosely connected stories focusing on the Primarchs, exploring their complicated, broken relationships with each other and the Emperor of Mankind.
This is the "fix it" parallel of the "break it more" series Schism.
Everything within both compilations can be considered stand alone and read as desired, in any order. There's no huge difference between the two, the main distinction being that this section will generally be more hopeful in overall tone than its companion. That doesn't necessarily mean pleasant though, by any stretch of the imagination.
...Is anything ever truly okay in 40k, though?
