Osamu Tezuka

Osamu Tezuka (born 3 November 1928 in Toyonaka, Osaka; died 9 February 1989 in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) was a Japanese manga artist and animator, best known as the creator of Astro Boy (鉄腕てつわんアトム), Kimba the White Lion (ジャングル大帝たいてい), and Black Jack (ブラックジャック).
