History

Before the Communist takeover, the area was organized as Pixna District (Pixinai; 皮かわ西乃にしの區く).[2]

In 1958, Pixna Commune (皮かわ西にし那な公社こうしゃ) was established.[2]

In 1984, Pixna Township was established.[2]
