Blue is one of the three primary colors in the RYB colors model (traditional colors theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colors model.[2] It lies between violet and cyan on the spectrum of visible light. The term blue generally describes colours perceived by humans observing light with a dominant wavelength between approximately 450 and 495 nanometres. Most blues contain a slight mixture of other colors; azure contains some green, while ultramarine contains some violet. Jacksparrowthepirate (talk) 09:51, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

- Jacksparrowthepirate seems to be asking to change "colour" to "color", but this article uses British English so nothing needs to be done (MOS:ENGVAR). — The Earwig (talk) 16:22, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
Section anchors
editI'm assuming there would be no issue with adding embedded {{anchor}}s using "American" spelling for the relevant section headings. In order to make things like Blue#Colorants be working anchor links, instead of "failing" silently and not jumping the reader's browser to the desired section (as otherwise happens). To aid us benighted Yanks who when editing reflexively speel it the oll korrect way when editing and have to check our links by following them to find out it's broken. Probably ought to do relevant singular/plural forms too. Figured I'd solicit input first to be cautious and give people time to mention any objections. --Slowking Man (talk)
