Osaka International Airport → Itami Airport – Google Trends show similar usage for both "Itami Airport" and "Osaka International Airport", but "Osaka International Airport" is confusing to readers since this airport only serves domestic destinations. - True. Some might think that the article is about the larger Kansai International Airport in Osaka Bay. — AjaxSmack 17:20, 18 June 2016 (UTC)
- Support - The article should be renamed Itami Airport, especially if the current title could be misleading. Comatmebro User talk:Comatmebro 01:17, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose - The official name is Osaka International Airport, so I see no reason to move the page away from that. The lead makes it clear that it is primarily a domestic airport and also known as Itami. Together with the hatnote at the top of the page this should be enough to avoid any potential confusion. 神戸 (talk) 02:32, 21 June 2016 (UTC) - Support current title is misleading. It is only a domestic airport. ✉cookiemonster✉ 𝚨755𝛀 21:30, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- Support – Internationl traffic was moved to Kansai airport in 1994; no reason to perpetuate a misleading official title. Suggest rewriting the lead as "Itami Airport, officially Osaka-Itami International Airport, is the primary domestic airport for …" — JFG talk 07:10, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
