Three suggestions

edit
  • When writing articles on chemistry, the lede paragraph should be reference a review or a textbook that establishes the definition and notability of the article's topic.
  • Artwork should be devoid of words and compounds should not be numbered. Words and numbers limit the flexibility of an art work.
  • Wikipedia is not a technical journal, it is an encyclopedia and this style is reflected ideally in the referencing being rather broad. This core concept is embodied in WP:SECONDARY. Many people underestimate the volume of primary literature. --Smokefoot (talk) 14:23, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Cross-equation restrictions to achieve identification

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Cross-equation restrictions to achieve identification. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – simultaneous equations models. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at simultaneous equations models – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. KDS4444Talk 19:48, 16 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for adding this info into the Glycolysis article. That section has been needed for ages. Good work! Hello!

edit

Hi there! I stumbled across an article you started at First differencing approach to instrumental variables. To be honest, I have no idea what the article is about and reading the article (to the extent I could) did not improve my understanding. I took a look at some of your other creations and they have very similar styles. You're obviously working very hard and an expert in your field, but these articles are not appropriate for a general audience encyclopedia like Wikipedia. Could I ask you to pause, please, in the creation of more articles and go back over your earlier creations with an eye for "dumbing down" your material for a lay audience? As they stand, I fear that your work will be lost via the deletion process. Our help page at Your first article has some broad hints and WP:LEAD has some good information on how to create an introduction to your article(s), while WP:TITLE has stuff on naming articles appropriately. However, if you read nothing else, I would suggest a review of WP:TECHNICAL as the amount of jargon used in the articles I looked at was overwhelming. Please fell free to reach out to me on my talk page if you have any questions. Matt Deres (talk) 05:17, 9 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

It could be a sentence standing alone as a paragraph before the first one here, starting with something like Chiral electrophiles are organic chemical reagents which... jcc (tea and biscuits) 20:29, 10 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

WP:Communication is required. You're obviously a quality editor, but when people raise issues about your work, you really don't have a choice but to engage. Otherwise, it is seen as disruptive, and I really, really would rather you just communicate a bit. Dennis Brown - 15:35, 11 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Tethered Intramolecular (2+2) Reactions, from its old location at User:Carolineneil/sandbox/Tethered Intramolecular (2+2) Reactions. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 19:05, 13 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Concerns About Contributions

edit

Please, for a change, try responding to someone's comments. Is there a reason why you never respond to comments? You are wasting your time and that of the reviewers. Of the three sandbox drafts that you submitted today, two were drafts that you had already submitted, one of which had been accepted and then merged into another article, and one of which was declined with comments. Two of your sandbox drafts have been nominated for deletion as duplicates. Please try communicating with us (at least if you are a human). Robert McClenon (talk) 22:07, 13 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
