Real inventor

There is a mastermind word version board game from the late 1970's, 4 and 5 letter versions that is a spin on Mastermind using letters.

Did Wardle created it or just simplified/adapted old idea? Wordle seems to be a simplified version of Lingo (American game show) 89.69.127.250 (talk) 10:37, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
