Lucas Digne (born 20 July 1993) is a French football player who currently plays for French club Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1. He plays as left back capable of also playing as a left-sided midfielder.

Club career

Lille

On 27 July 2010, Digne signed his first professional contract agreeing to a three-year deal with Lille until June 2013, though it was later extended to 2016 in January 2012.[1][2] Ahead of the 2011–12 season, Digne was promoted to the senior team permanently and assigned the number 3 shirt. He made his professional debut on 26 October 2011 in a 3–1 victory over Sedan in the Coupe de la Ligue.[3]

Paris Saint-Germain

On 17 July 2013, Digne signed a five-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain,[4] on a fee believed to be around €15 million.[5]

International career

Digne is a French youth international and has represented his nation at the U16, U17, U18 and U21 levels. In March 2014, Digne was called up to the senior France national team by manager Didier Deschamps for a friendly against Holland, coming on as a half-time substitute to earn his first full cap.
