She doesn't meet NP:Academic. She meets NP:Author as her book was covered substantially in various reliable independent sources and she received a James Beard Award for it. FloridaArmy (talk) 14:47, 4 January 2020 (UTC)

Anna Zeide is an Assistant Professor of History at Oklahoma State University and an author.[1] She won a James Beard Award in the Reference, History, and Scholarship category for Canned: The Rise and Fall of Consumer Confidence in the American Food Industry (University of California Press).[2][3] Zeide researches food, consumerism, and food systems.[4] She has blogged.

She received a B.A. and Masters degree from Washington University in St. Louis and Doctor of Philosophy in History of Science, Medicine, and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

She wrote an article on botulism for the Saturday Evening Post.[5] She gave a book talk October 16, 2019 at the Reher Center Gallery in New York City.
