Baffle gab, I have already asked User:Onel5969 to edit, and he has agreed to do it after he has finished editing Anbe Vaa. But you please carry on. Kailash29792 (talk) 06:00, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
Sorry for the conflict; I checked article history and that user hadn't yet started the c/e. I'll avoid the second article. If this happens and the user doesn't want to mark the request with {{working}}, you can place that for them, put the request {{on hold}} if you expect a particular user to do a c/e, or withdraw the request. Thanks for fixing my typos etc; it's appreciated. ;-) Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 06:09, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
If the c/e is complete, shall we go for a GAN, Kailash29792? Thamizhan1994 (Appo Pesu) 06:47, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
Thamizhan1994, yes nominate it. Or shall I? Currently your Anbe Vaa is under review. Kailash29792 (talk) 06:57, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
Nominated. :) Thamizhan1994 (Appo Pesu) 10:10, 15 December 2014 (UTC)

SRK Tamil voice

Does it mean he had only one line in total though? If so, then the whole thing should be removed. BollyJeff | talk 13:59, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

I have no clue; if no RS confirms he dubbed entirely for himself in Tamil, please remove the claim. But Hey Ram was simultaneously shot in Hindi and Tamil, featuring SRK in both; that claim must exist. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:59, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
I just got rid of it. See the FAC page. BollyJeff | talk 17:03, 15 December 2014 (UTC)

Thuppakki

Hey there, I have found sources giving Thuppakki's worldwide gross. Take a look:

http://www.ibtimes.co.in/will-vijay039s-039thalaivaa039-outperform-039thuppakki039-494466

http://www.newindianexpress.com/entertainment/tamil/Will-Thalaivaa-enter-the-150-crore-club/2013/07/25/article1700153.ece

I trust you will add these to these to the article so that there is no longer a need to use Eros International's inaccurate claims.

For Maattrraan, I think there are no reliable sources for worldwide gross. SanalSonu (talk) 19:13, 15 December 2014 (UTC)

Hello sir, yesterday i had managed to edit "Enga Veettu Pillai" with the references available from websites. I do not know whether i did a nice job in editing and expanding the article but i managed to expand it well to a certain extent. My confusion is which date it was released. In infobox, 14 january was given as release date while an Hindu article about deepawali releases said that Enga Veetu Pillai was released on Deepawali. I am confused about the film's release date, can you please help finding the right date for the film. User:Srivin (User talk:Srivin) 18 December 2014

Srivin, it's 14 Jan only. I have a book The Best of Tamil Cinema which says that. Kailash29792 (talk) 10:12, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
Ok sir, actually this is [link] which mentioned Enga Veetu Pillai. So i was confused whether the film was released on Deepawali.

Hi, I've nominated K. Balachander for recent deaths here. The lead seems to be not so much referenced (the third paragraph). I'm not a specialist in Tamil cinema so I guess it's exclusively your domain. Please do consider fixing it. Thanks, ƬheStrikeΣしぐまagle 17:11, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

Magadheera

Hi Kailash. Onel5969 reviewed Magadheera and raised a concern. Please do check it and if possible, please help me in meeting those concerns. Reply ASAP Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:38, 28 December 2014 (UTC)

Thanks Kailash. There is no information about the theater which screened Magadheera in Salur. So, what shall we do in this case? Can we write "Satyanarayana's announcement followed the death of five people in Salur Village due to a similar electric accident". Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:29, 28 December 2014 (UTC)

Pavan, isn't Lakshmi the theatre? Kailash29792 (talk) 15:38, 28 December 2014 (UTC)

Mayyam site

Hello Sir, sorry i have been out of station for past three days, i had checked my e-mail today morning, thanks for sending the snaps from dhananjayan's book. Sir, one question have you heard of Mayyam.com a discussion forum site where various films and its trivia has been covered and discussed. It has covered the info of various Sivaji Ganesan's films in that website. Sir, do you feel that this website is a reliable source for the articles. Srivin (talk) 06:10, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

I think it has one! Go to the bottom of the document where it'll have synopsis of all the films that won awards. Vensatry (ping) 08:32, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
It does. I can understand spoken Hindi but I'm not familiar with the alphabets. So, it takes me quite some time to decipher them. Kailash, if you can translate it, pls. do it. -- Sriram speak up 13:12, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

Vensatry, I repeat: Dhananjayan's book has a bigger synopsis than in the source you gave me. You still want to go the old way? Kailash29792 (talk) 13:46, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

Kailash, as I said earlier please send me the scans of all info that the book has about the film. Vensatry (ping) 16:58, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

Apoorva Raagangal

RIP, K. Balachander, we have indeed lost one of the creative directors in Tamil cinema. Just like the expansion of Aval Appadithan turned out be a tribute to Rudriah. I have expanded Apoorva Raagangal, but little did i realise that this will turn out to be a tribute to KB. User:Srivin (User talk:Srivin) 23 December 2014.

Sir, here is my e-mail id srinathvinayak@yahoo.co.in, you can send the snaps of apoorva raagangal from Dhananjayan's book. Srivin (talk) 09:05, 24 December 2014 (UTC)

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
For you role in the GAs achieved by me and Ssven2 in the recent past, in all possible ways. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:34, 10 January 2015 (UTC)

The film was telecasted from 10am to 1pm on Jaya TV today. I managed to get the names of the other Sowcar Janaki, Nagesh and Manorama. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 07:49, 10 January 2015 (UTC)

I managed to find Universal Hero's sandbox on the film, which is really helpful. Also I found Rediff, Behindwoods and Sify having Sivaji special news links which show all coverage of the film (mainly news about its making and release.). But, I am worried about Behindwoods as Bollyjeff mentioned in the FAC of Chandralekha that it wasn't reliable. What do I do? Ssven2 speak 2 me 10:05, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

You can find more external sources that prove its notability. BTW, I think some recent Hindu paper had a Behindwoods ad. Typically, any news website that has a well-developed Wikipedia article should be considered reliable. Kailash29792 (talk) 12:37, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
This link from Ramachandran's book shows that Rajinikanth could not act in Mudhalvan due to schedule conflicts. I can add that for the film's "origin" portion. Can you find out the right page for it? Ssven2 speak 2 me 04:42, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
Yes, by this evening I will. Kailash29792 (talk) 05:28, 13 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2:Sivaji was the first Indian film to be made in 4k resolution. But, there isn't a single mention of the distinction in the article. Try to add them too. -- Sriram speak up 11:43, 13 January 2015 (UTC)

Nayagan

Quite an interesting article isn't it? Vensatry (ping) 17:46, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Yep, and so is this treasure. Kailash29792 (talk) 17:48, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
Read both! I find Muktha Srinivasan's argument to be more justifiable. Vensatry (ping) 18:14, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Mr. Srinivasan's pain was indeed justifiable but did Mr. Haasan really copied Marlon Brando? I don't think so. But his article came 8 days after Mr. Haasan's and that makes me rethink about its reliability. Mr. Ratnam said that Mr. Haasan did not expect much from this film. I too think that Mr. Ratnam did not expect that both Haasan and Srinivasan would speak about this all of a sudden, that too making his heart attack an uncertainty.

PS : What would've Mr. Srinivasan and Mr. Haasan been if Nayakan was directed by Mr. Ratnam's friends Ram Gopal Varma or Krishna Vamsi? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:53, 13 January 2015 (UTC)

Then it would have been too brown, political and gory. Kailash29792 (talk) 10:56, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
By whom? RGV or KV? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:00, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
RGV of course. Kailash29792 (talk) 11:16, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. If it was KV, three things change. First, Haasan's work in the scene where his son dies may have been much more realistic. Second, Ajith's character would be terrified in such a way that he would shiver like a leaf in wind before shooting Velu dead for each bullet, crying like none. Third, Velu's character would stay alive for few minutes and in that short span, he speaks something to himself which carries the meaning "i want to live" but his behavior makes you feel that he became insane before dying. Sorry if anyone included in this conversation are hurt after reading this, including KV. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:49, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
With all due respect to RGV and KV, I must say that these two aren't in the same league as Mani. :) Vensatry (ping) 12:03, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
You are right bro. Mani is a class apart and only very few things between these three match. At least, KV's career slump ended in 2014 with Govindudu Andarivadele. But RGV's career slump may not end anytime soon i believe. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:18, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
Add Shekar Kapur to the friendship list. As for RGV, except for Shiva (which I think is a great film for a debutante) I haven't watched any of his films. Among the Telugu directors, I like Vamsi very much, mainly for his unique story-telling capability. Vensatry (ping) 18:39, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

Just came to know that TRPoD has been blocked for 48 hours. WTF happened? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:32, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

He got involved in some kind of edit warring and acted very hostile towards someone. Check his contributions page to know what happened. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:42, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

Yep. Went through it once. He just lost his control at the GamerGate issues regarding the usage of the word movement. Looks like it is his first block. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:09, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

Snaps

Bro, did Dhananjayan mentioned Apoorva Sagotharargal, Guna and Mudhalvan in his book, if it so, then please send those snaps from the book to my e-mail id. Srivin (talk) 07:40, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Yevadu

Thanks a lot for the barnstar bro. It is 20 January today and my previous GA Dookudu passed on 1 January. That is somewhat different for me. BTW did Dhanunjayan or any other author wrote about Mayabazar? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:49, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Naman Ramachandran listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Naman Ramachandran. Since you had some involvement with the Naman Ramachandran redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 06:02, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

Gopala Gopala

IBTimes says that the film crossed 400 million mark n ten days. Yesterday, trade analyst Trinath says that the film collected 480 million in its first week. I'm confused what to do. Both are RS but the claims are contradicting. Please advice me ragarding this issue. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:36, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Add a footnote (read Template:efn to know more) describing the contradicting claims. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:55, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

50th movie of Vikram (Actor)

There has been mention of 50th movie in articles like Vijay_filmography and Ajith_Kumar#Filmography. So why don't you edit those pages? --Vikramkennedyrasigar (talk) 06:52, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

Actually VKR (Vikram Kennedy Rasigar), those lists need severe cleaning and reworking. Moreover, they are not featured lists, and therefore cannot be looked upon as references for developing similar articles. Kailash29792 (talk) 06:57, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

23 January 2015

Kaliash, this date is extremely haunting Telugu cinema. Exactly an year back Akkineni Nageswara Rao died on 22 January. After so many natural deaths, 2015 began with five deaths including the one of M. S. Narayana today. RIP to one of the greatest comedians. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:48, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
