Hello, thanks for your edits to ARA Rivadavia and ARA Moreno, but I must urge you to be more careful! You've forgotten that the ships carried wing turrets, giving a total of twelve 12-inch guns. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 00:57, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Correcting typos marked with sic

[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you made a good faith correction of an apparent typographical error at HMS Terror (I03).[1] Unfortunately this was not an error and I have restored the previous wording. When making corrections, you may wish to check if {{sic}} has been used, which indicates that the apparent error is deliberate. In this case the ship is not a "salvage trawler" but a "salvaged trawler" (as in, a trawler that has been salvaged - this is clarified in the footnote at the end of the sentence). No harm done, but I thought I would draw this to your attention in case you come accross sic usage again. Happy editing. From Hill To Shore (talk) 02:44, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
