Minivac 601 デジタル・コンピュータ・キット（英語えいご: Minivac 601 Digital Computer Kit）は、情報じょうほう理論りろんの先駆せんく者しゃであるクロード・シャノンがデジタル回路かいろを使つかった教育きょういく用ようキットとして作つくり出だした電気でんき機械きかい式しきデジタルコンピュータシステムである^[2]。

説明せつめい

システムは1961年ねんにサイエンティフィック・ディベロップメント・コーポレーション (Scientific Development Corporation) のコンシューマ製品せいひん部門ぶもん（すぐ後のちにデジタル機器きき部門ぶもんに改称かいしょう）より販売はんばいされた^[2]^[3]。Minivac 601は青あおく塗装とそうされた木製もくせいのケースに収おさめられた。データの一時いちじ記憶きおくに使つかう論理ろんりスイッチには双極そうきょく双そう投とう形がたリレーを使用しようしていた。メインボードは単純たんじゅんな双極そうきょく双そう投とう形がたスライドスイッチ、単たん極きょく双そう投とう形がた押おしボタンスイッチ、表示ひょうじランプを使つかった6ビットの2進数しんすう入出力にゅうしゅつりょく機構きこうを備そなえていた。16ステップの電動でんどうダイヤルロータリースイッチは10進しんまたは16進しんの数字すうじを入力にゅうりょく、出力しゅつりょく、あるいはクロック信号しんごう発生はっせい器きとして機能きのうした。

部品ぶひんはメイン回路かいろ基板きばん上じょうのソケットにピン付つきのジャンパ線せんを手作業てさぎょうで挿入そうにゅうして内部ないぶ接続せつぞくされていた。この単純たんじゅんなコンピュータは部品ぶひんを組くみ合あわせることで三さん目もく並ならべを遊あそんだり、あるいは単純たんじゅんなエレベーター制御せいぎょシステムをシミュレートしたりといったことがかろうじて可能かのうになった。

1962年ねん初はじめには強化きょうか版ばんのMinivac 6010がリリースされた。これはグレーの金属きんぞく製せいケースに収おさめられ、高こう品質ひんしつな部品ぶひんが使つかわれていた^[4]。抵抗ていこう器き、コンデンサ、ダイオードなど、可能かのう性せいを広ひろげるための追加ついかのパッチコードが供給きょうきゅうされた^[4]。価格かかくが跳はね上あがったにもかかわらず、システムは玩具おもちゃとしてよりも企業きぎょう向むけによく売うれた^[5]。
