Alserio (Brianzöö: Alzerich) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Milan and about 10 kilometres (6 mi) southeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,127 and an area of 1.9 square kilometres (0.73 sq mi).[3]
Alserio borders the following municipalities: Albavilla, Anzano del Parco, Monguzzo, Orsenigo.
