Eugene Fama

Eugene Francis "Gene" Fama (/ˈfɑːmə/; lahir 14 Februari 1939) ialah seorang ahli ekonomi Amerika, paling dikenali untuk kerja-kerja empirikal mengenai teori portfolio, penentuan harga aset, dan hipotesis berkesan pasaran.
Beliau kini Profesor Kewangan Robert R. McCormick yang terkenal di Sekolah Perniagaan Booth Universiti Chicago. Pada tahun 2013, beliau berkongsi Hadiah Peringatan Nobel dalam Sains Ekonomi bersama dengan Robert J. Shiller dan Lars Peter Hansen.[1][2] Kertas Penyelidikan dalam Ekonomi meletakkan beliau sebagai ahli ekonomi paling berpengaruh ke-9 sepanjang masa berdasarkan sumbangan akademiknya, Setakat April 2019[kemas kini].[3]
