Salvatore Schillaci (1 December 1964 – 18 September 2024) was an Italian football player. He played for Italy national team, until 1991.

Schillaci was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2022. In September 2024, he was hospitalised in Palermo, Italy with an atrial arrhythmia.[1] Schillaci died on the morning of 18 September 2024, at the age of 59.[2][3]
