It's just a shallow money grabbing scheme that should not be allowed on Steam. Far more work has been put into adding the Steam inventory API and the making of skins/items than the actual game itself. This is something I'm against just like AAA slop being peddled out with massive issues but the in-game stores are always 100% working and ready when it's shipped out.

If even a little bit of work (like others of the genre) was put into these games I would sing a different tune, but we all know why they are doing this. It's just a way for them to get around the rules of NFTs being on Steam (which is funny since they are basically the same thing but they stay on Steam and don't interact with other games either) since that garbage died outside of Steam.
