PianoFiles.com <-> The Concept
The Concept:
If you have some sheet music yourself and you want to exchange them for other sheets, then this website can offer
you a way to enlarge your sheet collection. All sheets you find in the PianoFiles.com database are from piano players who
signed in and entered all the sheets they own. You can do the same with your sheet list. Finally, you can browse through
the database and search for the sheet you were always looking for. If you found it, just contact the owner of the sheet by email and start trading.
Getting started:
All you have to do is sign in and login with the password that will be sent to you.
Enter all the sheets you have in the mysheets section.
If you are looking for a song you always wanted to play, you can enter it into the myrequests section. Now you can start trading.
Search for the sheets you want, go to the owner by clicking on the sheet and send the owner an email, together with your member page so that person
can check the sheets you have.
Good Advice:
Its very recommended that you have an emailbox which is large enough to get big files.
You should have at least a few sheets to trade because most of the traders only trade when they do get something in return.
If you don't have any sheets at all: look for a sheet that is requested a lot, buy it (online or in a store) and you will be able to get many sheets for it in return.
PianoFiles.com does not offer sheet music for download.
It only offers a place where people who play the piano can meet eachother and talk about the interpretation of sheet music.
