Praise for Knausgård's writing:
"Knausgård delivers, but his book leaves us with a savage thirst for more... I must confess it is some time since I experienced such pain in reading a novel. Karl Ove Knausgård writes so it hurts. It is as if he transfers the self-inflicted wound of his novel onto his reader. But this is a wound from which, in the long run I think I will grow wise - or at least a little wiser. I want more novels from Knausgård, I want this book-cycle to continue, even if it costs me both my health and good nights’ sleep."
