Kids React To Osama Bin Laden’s Death [Video]

In the latest installment of The Fine Brothers’ Kids React To Viral Videos, a group of 6 to 14-year old kids react to the death of Osama bin Laden.

‘Kids React To Osama bin Laden’s Death’ is a departure from the usual silly antics of the Kids React series, which has included everything from Kids Reacting to Charlie Sheen’s craziness and Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’, to big YouTube stars like Fred and MysteryGuitarMan, but creators Benny and Rafi Fine felt that this was necessary. They say in an email, “As our disclaimer for the video reads, we find it is important to take pause when historical events occur and to reflect on how the next generation views the actions of our everchanging world. Though this is a more serious subject than our usual episodes, it is valuable to learn from the insights of more innocent eyes than our own.”

The insights of these children, many of whom weren’t even born yet when the tragic September 11 attacks occurred, truly are astounding. Now they may not have all the facts right—8-year old Emma tells us that bin Laden destroyed the Twin Towers and “a lot of people died…like 42 people died.”—but when it comes down to it these kids have a lot of really interesting things to say about Osama’s death.

After watching President Obama’s speech announcing the death of bin Laden, the kids answer questions about how the event makes them feel, how they feel about people cheering in the streets and celebrating his death, whether the government should release pictures proving that Osama bin Laden is really dead and what they think is going to happen with other terrorists as a result of bin Laden’s death.
