Food and Drink

wedding food and drink

Food and drink are two of the most important elements of the day. There are generally three options for the food at the reception: canapés only, a buffet, or a sit-down lunch or dinner. These vary in price and style.

At some hired venues and for marquee weddings, a catering company will need to be hired and alcohol sourced. At other venues, such as hotels, food and drink facilities are obviously provided.

The couple will usually have a wedding cake professionally made. While traditional cakes are still popular, many couples opt for something more visually interesting or that can be served for pudding.
