Hearthfire available on Steam

Beginning today you can download the PC version of Hearthfire via Steam for $4.99.

In case you missed it, with Heathfire you can purchase land and build your own home from the ground up – from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with an armory, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden, and more. Use all-new tools like the drafting table and carpenter’s workbench to transform quarried stone, clay, and sawn logs into structures and furnishings.  Even transform your house into a home by adopting children.

In addition to being able to purchase Hearthfire, visit this link to learn about the current Elder Scrolls sale they’re running.

As new information is available for Skyrim add-on content, we’ll keep you posted here on the blog.

  1. I got an idea how about bethesda actually works on the dlc and stops posting the same thing over and over again. At least they admitted the problemswere their fault and stopped blaming other people

  2. Still in 2 minds whether to trade in Skyrim for PS3, the lack of updates doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence so I’m swinging towards doing it because 3-4 months is really taking the p***

If any of my releases at work were 4 months late, I’d have been either reprimanded and the job given to someone who could do it or I’d have been let go for not being able to do my job, food for thought

    • Never mind 3-4 months, the game’s almost a year old and still broken as all hell. Thankfully, GAME gave me a £30 PSN voucher for it, so I was able to cut my losses and get a game that actually works.

Won’t be buying a Bethesda title ever again. The last two I paid for (Skyrim and RAGE) were both hopeless. I encourage everyone to pirate all Bethesda games until they learn to stop dumping on their fans. It’s the only way they’ll learn.

  3. Yeah…

I’ve pretty much given up on Dawnguard. I was holding out hope for Hearthfire since it’s a smaller DLC, but if you guys can’t get Hearthfire to work. Then I give up. Bethesda, skyrim was my first, and unfortunately last purchase from your company.

Hope you can get it right in the future.
