Student Ticket Policy
• **WMU students no longer need their Bronco ID to attend home games, as WMU Athletics utilizes digital tickets for students for all ticketed home events. Admission is still free for WMU students to attend all home games, and students will claim a ticket before the game by logging into their WMU student ticket account. Detailed instructions on how to access your ticket account and manage tickets can be found below.
• Exceptions: From time to time, due to anticipated demand for student section seating, certain games may be designated as needing a lottery system or charge for admission. Further, Post-season play – WMU Athletics must reserve the right to charge students an admission fee for post-season games hosted on campus as may be prescribed/required by Conference affiliation guidelines.
Student Football Ticket Information
Students should reserve their ticket in advance of each home game. Tickets can be reserved at wmubroncos.com/studenttickets beginning the Monday two weeks prior to each home game starting at 10 a.m. Once reserved, you will receive an email that your mobile ticket is ready to download.
It is extremely important to add your mobile ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay wallet on your phone prior to game day, as cellular coverage is limited at the event. On game day present your student ticket on your mobile device for scanning at the Waldo Stadium entrance.
Student guest tickets are available to be purchased when reserving your free student ticket.
Student Hockey/Basketball/Volleyball/Soccer/Gymnastics Ticket Information
Students should reserve their ticket in advance of each home game. Tickets can be reserved at wmubroncos.com/studenttickets beginning the Monday the week of each home game starting at 10 a.m.
Capacity in Lawson Arena is limited and students should claim their digital ticket in advance of the game. If capacity is reached, student tickets will no longer be available . On a game-by-game basis, additional student tickets may be released and will be communicated via email and/or social media if any become available. Please note, students that claim a hockey ticket but do not attend the game may lose digital ticketing privileges.
Student section seating in Lawson Arena is general admission, and doors open 1 hour prior to the game. Arrive early to get the best seat! (A ticket guarantees admission to Lawson, however seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.)
Student Step-by-Step Ticket Claim Process
- Go to wmubroncos.com/studenttickets
- Click 'REGISTER' if this is your first time to the site, OR if already registered, sign in with your student ID and unique password
- Click on the game(s) you wish to claim
- Select 'Add to cart'
- Under Delivery Method, select 'WMU Student Mobile Delivery'
- Click 'Checkout'
- Select 'Place Your Order'
DONE! Your Student Ticket will be sent via email.
- You will also have the option to have your ticket sent via text
