Located 25 km south east of Nuremberg, Altdorf is a small Franconian town embedded in a beautiful landscape with a vast historical background that goes back into the Middle Ages.

On our website, you will find a multitude of important and up-to-date information on life in our town, latest news from the town hall, on public facilities and activities in the fields of business, culture, churches and associations as well as on spare time activities. Have a look at our calendar of events - it's always worth it.

You may use our integrated search function for a fast and easy access to what you are looking for on our website. Many transactions being too complex, quite a few administrative matters still cannot be handled online with standard forms. However, the menu item "Rathaus" (town hall) provides the basic forms for our citizens as a download which only have to be filled in and returned. Moreover, our "Bürgerservice" (citizens' service) helps you to get along easily in many circumstances.
