I concur with most of the praise given to this book in all the other reviews, so no point in repeating it all. It's a good read, and has the Simmons tradmark unexpected plot twists that distinguish it from the average WW2 spy story. Would've given it four stars easily, but had to demote it for the sloppy editing of all the fake German used in the book - over half of the German words are mis-used or mis-spelled, sometimes even the names of characters. Spoiled the experience for me, but may be of no relevance to readers without any knowledge of German.
