Dokanto[1] are enemies in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They are a variety of ant with head-mounted cannons that shoot small deadly pellets out. Dokanto can be defeated either from being jumped on or from a fireball. They are encountered in the first stage of Macro Zone only.

A soldier ant of the ant family, a family of ants. They carry cannons on their backs. They fire their cannons at regular intervals, but they do not move very fast, so stomp on them and eliminate them.
