A Poro[1] is an enemy in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They are encountered in the first and secret levels of Space Zone. Poro resembles a small spaceship and attempts to crash into Mario while in midair. They orbit large and small blocks. If they are seen orbiting empty space, they are usually orbiting an invisible block. Poro can be defeated from either being jumped on or from a fireball.

カエルのようにガニマタで、ちょっとマヌケな形かたちをした宇宙船うちゅうせん。ムーンコースに出現しゅつげんする。同おなじところをグルグル回まわって邪魔じゃまなヤツだが、踏ふみつけで簡単かんたんに倒たおせるんだ。[2]

Small and weird spaceship

A spaceship with a frog-like body and a rather dumb looking shape. It appears on the moon course. It is a nuisance, circling around the same spot, but it can be easily defeated by stomping on it.
