Teacher Professional Development
The Education Team provides professional development opportunities for teachers and pre-service teachers. We help teachers upskill their own knowledge of our parliamentary processes and deliver informative and engaging civics education within their classrooms. Our programs are free, virtual and align with the New Zealand Curriculum.

We want everyone to feel comfortable and empowered to visit us here at Parliament. For some individuals, visiting Parliament can be a more daunting prospect than others. To help make Parliament accessible to all we have created a resource called a ‘Social Story’.
