There wasn't anything special about Bob Dylan's show in Concord, California – until it became apparent, years later, that it had been the first stop on a touring schedule that has kept Dylan on the road more or less ever since, causing his travels to be nicknamed the 'never ending' tour. Dylan himself was unimpressed by the tag. "Does anybody call Henry Ford a Never Ending Car Builder?" he asked.
