Summary
Tatiana knows that Commander Corik would never look her way. She's just an average worker in the Dollhouse, a place full of beautiful women that all orc fighters go to relieve themselves of their aggression. She is no one worth his time.
But tragedy soon befalls them both, and he ends up making a grave mistake. He swears to her that he will make it right. However, Tatiana doesn't know what that entails. She doesn't even think he made a mistake!
Then he becomes Chief. As is his right, he is allowed to choose a anyone as his personal doll to cement his new status. But instead of one of the many beautiful and eager women from the Dollhouse, he chooses her. Everyone is stunned, but she has no choice but to accept. She just prays she will be able to handle it.

In a futuristic world, Flukey Thunder is a single parent to his infant child Florin after the tragic loss of Tanya Thunder, Flukey's wife and Florin's mother. This tragedy would be enough to drive Flukey to move to Japan with his son in hopes of a fresh start. In the beginning it was pleasant until the day the city was attacked by orcs and things ended up getting chaotic quickly with Flukey and Florin close to being statistics in the casualty list but are saved by Asagi and Sakura, two Taimanin who are tasked with protecting civilians from all types of threats ranging between humans, orcs, demons, and other monsters. Among the casualties was Flukey and Florin's home and Asagi, being the selfless individual that she was, offered to let the two come live with her and her Sakura. While this suggestion was out of sincerity, it would end up becoming the best decision for not only Flukey and his son, but also for Asagi, Sakura, and the rest of the Taimanin.
