I haven't been back too long, but it doesn't take very long to notice when someone is vastly underqualified to make authoritative decisions on behalf of a site's community. There's probably evidence as far as the eye can see as to why opping Mr-ex777 was a mistake, but I'll point to on Sims's talk page where he admits to banning Romartus "as a test." It's pretty clear that whatever drama resulted from this decision isn't Frosty's fault at all. Mr-ex doesn't act like an admin working to preserve the current state of the site, he acts like a passive aggressive boyfriend whose ass you should dump.

  • Romartus is doing NOTHING useful around the site, other than causing drama and trolling so i blocked him, and he's also a hypocrite who does things that can cause him to be banned infinitely in less than 1 second if he would do it on the spoon. Alas, i know someone would unblock him, it's not a matter of when, it's a matter of who. Frosty unblocked him, but maybe i should had been gave a warning to him first before trying to make votes deop him. In fact now i wish the deop frosty thread would die out and i can simply state a warning to frosty not to do so. I now decided to let the drama run it's course and die out. Spearing a dead fish has no merits.--WELCOME TO UNCYCLOPEDIA HELL!!!! 13:29, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
•  Against. Honestly, this whole thing has been blown so far out of proportion that it's actually quite pathetic. This thread just serves to solidify that. As for everybody claiming that none of this is Frosty's fault, stop kidding yourselves. The de-op Frosty forum came as a result of him doing things by himself, such as reversing other admin's decisions and sabotaging various things wanted/set-up by members of the community, without seeking the opinions of others, or in other words being a "rogue admin". The Romartus block just happened to be the final straw for some people and whilst I do agree that Mr-ex777 infibanning him may have been a little bit too much (1 week/month probably would have been more reasonable imo), this whole thing could have been avoided if Frosty just brought it up with Mr-ex and went from there. He didn't, so that forum was created. Doesn't take the fuckers from True Detective to figure that one out. And while banning somebody to provoke a reaction may not have been the best move by Mr-ex, I do not think that alone is worth de-opping somebody over. I've already made clear my thoughts on "rogue admins" and yes Romartus should just give up trying to be disruptive and get on with his life; disruptive people inevitably get banned, simple as, and that's what happened.   • Please, don't get me wrong, though. This was a serious vote, and there is no misunderstanding. I agree with that the De-op Frosty forum was the opposite of productive. But at this point, I feel like no matter who does what, every ban or de-opping will only suck more juice out of Uncyclopedia. In my opinion, we should stay with all our users, as much as we can. We're on the same boat, which happened to have hit an iceberg (and is still hitting the same one), so I guess solidarity above all! Anton (talk) 22:17, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
