カロン・ラン

「カロン・ラン」（ウェールズ語ご: Calon Lân、清きよき心しん）はウェールズ語ごの歌うたである。歌詞かしは1890年代ねんだいにダニエル・ジェイムズ（詩人しじんとしての名前なまえグイロシズ Gwyrosydd で知しられる）によって書かかれ、ジョン・ヒューズによる旋律せんりつに乗のせて歌うたわれる。この歌うたは元々もともと聖歌せいかとして作つくられたが、ウェールズのラグビーユニオンと結むすび付ついたラグビーのアンセムとして定着ていちゃくした。ウェールズ代表だいひょうが戦たたかうほぼ全すべてのテストマッチの試合しあい前まえに歌うたわれる。

この歌うたはS4Cのテレビシリーズ「Codi Canu」（2007年ねんの第だい1シーズン）で歌うたわれた伝統でんとう的てきなウェールズ語ごの歌うたの1つであった。

「カロン・ラン」は、歌詞かしの英語えいご版ばんがほぼ歌うたわれたことがないという点てんで他たの人気にんきの伝統でんとう的てきなウェールズ語ごの歌うた（例たとえば「Cwm Rhondda」）とは異ことなっている。しかし、旋律せんりつは例たとえば英国えいこくメソジストの賛美さんび歌集かしゅう『賛美さんび歌かと詩編しへん』でも見みられ、P・ P・ブリスによる歌詞かし「I will Sing the Wondrous Story」はこの旋律せんりつで歌うたわれる。

スペイン語ご版ばんも存在そんざいし、主おもにパタゴニアにある元もとウェールズ人じん入植にゅうしょく地ちア・ウラドゥヴァのウェールズ系けいアルゼンチン人じんによって歌うたわれる。
