Tess Daly has taken to Instagram with a touching tribute to her husband Vernon Kay as he hits the milestone 50th birthday, sharing a collection of rare and intimate photographs from their life together.
The couple, who first crossed paths on the TV show T4 back in 2001, have been a staple in the British entertainment industry, and Tess's heartfelt post gives fans a glimpse into their personal moments.
The Strictly Come Dancing presenter posted a video montage filled with unseen snapshots dating back to the early days of their romance, reports the Mirror.
Accompanying the nostalgic visuals, Tess wrote: "50 TODAY @vernonkay. So happy to have spent half of those birthdays with you."
The post quickly garnered attention, with fellow celebrities like Kirsty Gallagher chiming in with a "Happy birthday Vern".
Denise Van Outen and Strictly's own Dianne Buswell also joined the online party, sending their best to Vernon, who recently stepped into the shoes of the iconic Radio 2 DJ Ken Bruce after his departure from the BBC.

The array of images shared by Tess includes holiday memories, tender family moments with their children, and snapshots of a younger Vernon around the time he and Tess began their love story.
This personal homage from Tess coincides with a celebratory nod from BBC Radio 2, where Vernon's colleagues at the station crafted a special birthday segment in his honour.
A host of celebrities, including Jo Whiley, Michelle Visage, Tony Blackburn and Sara Cox, joined forces to sing a special version of Stevie Wonder's Happy Birthday for Vernon Kay's 50th birthday.

However, according to an insider who spoke to OK!, Vernon had mixed feelings about reaching the milestone age. "Vernon had mixed feelings about turning 50, to him it just feels so old and was in a bit of panic before it all happened."
The source added: "He has always liked to see himself as quite young and trendy - it only seemed like a few years ago he was being described as fresh young talent. But he also feels so grateful to have got to 50 and to be married to Tess and have two beautiful and healthy daughters."
