Pixelfed（ピクセルフェッド）とは、自由じゆうかつオープンソースの写真しゃしん共有きょうゆうソーシャル・ネットワーキング・サービスである^[4]^[5]。このプラットフォームは電子でんしメール・プロバイダ（英語えいご版ばん）とほぼ同等どうとうの分散ぶんさん型がたアーキテクチャを使用しようしており、ユーザーデータは1つの中央ちゅうおうサーバに保存ほぞんされない^[6]^[7]。PixelfedはActivityPubを使用しようするので、ユーザーはマストドン、PeerTube、Friendica（英語えいご版ばん）などの同おなじプロトコルを使用しようする他ほかのソーシャルネットワークとやり取とりができる^[8]。PixelfedやActivityPubを使用しようする他ほかのプラットフォームはFediverseの一部いちぶとみなされている^[9]^[10]。

マストドンと同様どうように、Pixelfedはコンテンツ操作そうさアルゴリズムを使用しようせずに時とき系列けいれつタイムラインを実装じっそうしてる^[11]^[12]。また、サードパーティ解析かいせきや追跡ついせきを行おこなわないなどプライバシーに重点じゅうてんを置おく（英語えいご版ばん）ことを目指めざしてる^[13]^[14]。Pixelfedは各かくサーバのハッシュタグ、ジオタグ、いいね!に基もとづいて写真しゃしんを整理せいりすることもできる。また、Pixelfedは投稿とうこうごとにフォロワー限定げんてい、公開こうかい、Unlisted^{[注釈ちゅうしゃく 1]}の3つの方法ほうほうで投稿とうこうの公開こうかい範囲はんいを指定していできる。他たのいくつかのソーシャルプラットフォームと同様どうように、Pixelfedはアカウントのフォローを承認しょうにん制せいにすることができ、フォローリクエストを承認しょうにんするかでフォロワー（英語えいご版ばん）によるフォローを許可きょかするか否ひかを決定けっていできる。

機能きのう

PixelfedにはInstagramと似にた写真しゃしん共有きょうゆう機能きのうがあり、Instagramの「倫理りんり的てき」な代替だいたいとみなされることもある^[15]^[16]^[4]。ユーザーは接続せつぞくしたPixelfedインスタンスの形式けいしきで独立どくりつした分散ぶんさん型がたかつ連合れんごう型がたの写真しゃしんコミュニティを介かいして写真しゃしん、ストーリー（英語えいご版ばん）、コレクションを投稿とうこうできる^[17]。ユーザーと同おなじPixelfedインスタンスの投稿とうこうはローカルフィードに表示ひょうじされ、他たのFediverseインスタンスからの投稿とうこうはグローバルフィードに表示ひょうじされる。ホームフィードにはフォローしているユーザーの投稿とうこうが表示ひょうじされる。発見はっけんページにはユーザーが興味きょうみを持もちそうな画像がぞうが表示ひょうじされる^[18]。

各かく投稿とうこうには最大さいだいで10枚まいの写真しゃしんか動画どうがを添付てんぷできる^[19]。Pixelfedには発見はっけんフィードやコンテンツ警告けいこくの強調きょうちょうなどマストドンと同おなじ機能きのうもいくつかある^[1]。

AndroidとiOS向むけの公式こうしきアプリは開発かいはつ中ちゅうである^[20]。

セキュリティ

反応はんのう
