舷ふなばた，分別ふんべつ在ざい船ふね身み的てき左ひだり及右みぎ邊あたり。根據こんきょ國際こくさい慣例かんれい，左舷さげん被ひ稱しょう為ためPort，右舷うげん被ひ稱しょう為ためStarboard。

Port源げん於larboard，由ゆかり中古ちゅうこ英語えいごladebord演えんじ變へん而成。由よし於larboard聽起來らい容易ようい與あずかstarboard混淆こんこう^[1] ，是ぜ以1844年ねん之の後こう由よし「Port」所しょ取と代だい。左舷さげん被ひ稱しょう為ため「Port」，亦また因いん為ため傳統でんとう上じょう，船ふね隻せき是ぜ左邊さへん靠もたれ岸がん或ある碼頭的てき。

右舷うげん（Starboard）

Starboard的てき叫さけべ法ほう源げん於西方かた早期そうき船せん隻せき方向ほうこう控ひかえ制せい的てき習慣しゅうかん。在ざい舵かじ發明はつめい之の前まえ，船員せんいん會かい以特製せい的てき槳於船尾せんび控ひかえ制せい方向ほうこう。由よし於多數すう船員せんいん為ため右みぎ撇子，船ふね槳多數すう絟於船せん的てき右みぎ方かた。Starboard源げん於古こ英語えいごsteorbord一いち詞し，意思いし是ぜ控ひかえ制せい船せん隻せき方向ほうこう的てき那な一方いっぽう。
