Jahmene Douglas debuts new single 'Titanium' video
By Robert Copsey
Jahmene Douglas has debuted the music video for his new single 'Titanium'.
The clip - which appears below - sees the singer perform next to a piano, while a story of domestic abuse plays out.
Discussing the track with Digital Spy, he confessed: "It's very hard to sing. I was scared to do it because it's a big chart song and I'm quite old school.
"For me, the song is about strength and the music video is based around domestic violence and how a woman gets out of it. The lyrics are so powerful for that interpretation. Hopefully if someone is in that situation and watches it, they'll think, I can get out."
'Titanium' serves as the lead single from his debut album Love Never Fails, both of which are released on July 22.
Douglas recently admitted that releasing an album of covers is "either brave or stupid", adding: "Hopefully people will embrace it and realise I'm just starting out."
