If the shipment country is an EU member state, the shipment fee is subject to European VAT (Value Added Tax) sales tax. See VAT rates for EU member states.
We ship by National Postal Services (USPS, Canada Post, DHL, Royal Mail, La Poste, Poste Italiane, Australia Post, etc.). It is pretty reliable for all countries that we serve, and it is reasonably priced. But outside Europe, mainly in the U.S.A. (USPS), it is rather slow.
In 2003 we introduced a possibility for you to accumulate your auction wins of art prints for up to 3 months and up to $5,000. On your request we ship your prints consolidated - in one package for one shipment fee if your items can be shipped in one flat package and do not exceed the total value of $5,000. We call it HOLD option or consolidated shipping.
Please note: Items which cannot be shipped flat like scrolls, books (e-hon) or items which are too large and therefore require tube shipment, and all items that cannot be combined with flat prints are exempt from our HOLD OPTION and are shipped immediately and charged with a shipment fee per package. If the total value of your prints on HOLD should exceed $5,000 we split your orders for security reasons into more than one package and charge shipment fee per package.
Your invoice is generated with shipment fee. We ship immediately after payment.
Your invoice is generated without shipment fee. We keep your order(s) item(s) until you will release them for shipment.
When you want us to ship your accumulated orders, please release them from your account. Use Checkout and select ORDERS - RELEASE.
If you have your account option set for immediate shipment ("consolidate shipping = no") but decide after auction end not to have shipped THIS order now - for reasons of travel for instance, you can HOLD BACK a single order - but you must do it shortly after having received your winner's notification (comes usually 15 minutes after auction end).
For payment by credit card you can hold your order back until 12 hours after auction end. For payment by PayPal or Bank Transfer you can hold your order back as long as you have not yet paid it.
If you want to hold back your order, login to your your account. Use Checkout and select ORDERS - HOLD BACK.
Our system removes the shipment fee, recalculates your order and in case of payment by PayPal or Bank Transfer sends you an updated payment request mail.
Artelino is in no way liable for any damages or loss during storage or transportation for orders for which shipment was not requested within the maximum HOLD period of 3 months or if the accumulated value of your HOLD orders exceeds $5,000. Orders on HOLD older than 1 year and not requested for shipment become property of the artelino company.
With our shipping confirmation we send you the tracking code by email or you can track from your account applications.
Please manage your shipments only from your account applications. After auction end we are flooded with emails, or they may disappear in a spam folder. We are asking for your understanding that it is impossible to manage weekly online auctions by emails.
For security and legal reasons and general company policy we do not offer a pick-up service from our business location.
For security reasons (identity theft) and general company policy we do not change the account data of our clients on email request. If your shipment address or your email should have changed, submit your new address or email ONLY by using your Account Applications. Login and select HOME ADDRESS, SHIPMENT ADDRESS or EMAIL ADDRESS.
