Cycling is a great way to travel around town. Unfortunately, hills in Dunedin can be steep.
Electric bikes take you up the hill easily, making cycling easier. Have a go and try one out; most cycle shops allow you to take a bike for a test ride.

If you’re interested in buying an e-bike, think about:
- Servicing/warranty
- Good quality tyres
- Accessories.
Do your research:
- E-bikes are more expensive than regular bikes, so get a bike suitable for your ride.
- How are you going to use the bike i.e. for commuting, off-road, trail riding or all of the above?
