Dean McAlwee

I’m Dean McAlwee proud to be born and breed on the Taieri, this lifestyle and the people it embodies are second to none! Married with three children, we live in Outram. Having worked in our family business Mosgiel Mobil for the past 25 years giving me a first hand appreciation of our incredible community and its ability to achieve great things.

I’m involved in our growing community, I’m available and approachable. This is integral to my role as Chair of the Outram Charitable Trust. Many initiatives I’ve been involved within the trust over the past 10 years linking local communities, promoting engagement and discussion to affect change.

I’m delighted and proud by this opportunity to advocate on behalf of our community ensuring Dunedin City Council services meet evolving needs of the Mosgiel, Taieri ward.

My door is always open, I am willing to support any positive initiatives but equally willing to deal with any situations that arise.
