One of our goals here at Ara Toi is to help embed art and creativity in the everyday lives of Dunedin’s residents and central to this are the creative practitioners in our local, regional, and national communities. On occasion, opportunities for artists arise out of DCC projects and events; these could include street performances, a co-design role on an infrastructure project, a piece of public art.With this in mind, we have set up the Ara Toi Creative Register. Initially we intend to use this to send artists information about creative opportunities that are coming up in DCC projects and events.
